The Art of Wine Production – A MA+RU+FA is built in the heart of Santo Estevão, Benavente,
which is emerging as a new and promising wine-producing "sub-region".
Within a unique 68-hectare estate, winemaking activities are carefully developed to transform the grapes into a wine of excellence. Planted since 2009, the 8-hectare vineyard benefits from unique conditions that favour a terroir with truly exceptional characteristics.
From the vineyard to the winery, careful production techniques are used to improve the quality of the grapes, from green pruning, to weeding the bunches, to inter-row tilling and drip irrigation.
Elegant in the glass and exceptional on the palate
The distinction of A MA+RU+FA wines is also achieved by the variety of renowned national and international grape varieties, which meet meticulous quality criteria and are adapted to the sandy and sandy loam soil.
Among the most predominant are Syrah and Touriga Nacional and, later, Alicante Bouschet, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Tinta Francisca and Sangiovese. The white grape varieties include Arinto, Verdelho and Sauvignon Blanc, which give the wines produced a distinctive character.
